Chandler Robbins from his son. Rev. Chandler Robbins, D.D. was a native of Cambridge, Mass. Born August 24, 1738, graduated at Yale College in 1756, and was a distinguished classical scholar. In the revolutionary struggle he was a most zealous advocate for liberty and independence, He was among the foremost of the patriotic clergymen, Letter is readable,but in somewhat fragile condition.
